Sucks that lewan got tossed but big props to him for sticking up for the QB. Should have curb stomped the dude who came through the line and hit mariota. some bush league crap... unreal that they take a cheap shot and we lose a player.

 

I think it may have just been synchronized. I mean he didn't hesistate to fire his very close friend as the special teams coach, so I think he've shown he isn't afraid to make changes when needed. I think Robiskie might be getting his feet under him as a coordinator and him leaning his personnel more intimately.

No kidding. Using their (later) logic, the first penalty instigated Lewan's penalty and it shouldn't be enforced.

 

The most impressive thing to me about today was the fact that we were playing with 3 backup OL for 3Q and still managed to put up 47 points. Whether it is Robinson or Grimm or both their is no doubt that our OL is soooooo much better than last yr it isn't even funny.

 

Cost us 15 with those antics. I am sure Mularkey will have a talk with him.

 

I think he was saying we put the Packers to sleep. When the Jets beat the Pats in the playoffs several years back a receiver did the same thing, but used the football as a "pillow" and got fined and penalized for using a prop. Now it's a penalty if you just go to the ground to celebrate.

 

Nice win. I believe next week is a must win though.
