How? Have you looked at the NFC lately? They are a lock to win their division and they are still the best team in the COnference. The only teams semi-close are the Seahawks, Saints, and Eagles--all probably division winners.

when you look at chicagos offense you see a bunch of scrubs when you look at theyre defense you see Allstars, i just think some of those allstars are gonna get injured, have a bad season, go on hold out(briggs), get suspended, and you can expect a subpar season for the bears.

I dont know how you call Olin Kruetz, Cedric Benson, Bernard Berrian, and Muhsin Muhammad "scrub". Sure, they might not be the best players, but they are far from scrubs.

Berrian had the best season of his short career and he made Desmond Clark into a decent receiving TE, so I dont know how anyone got worse.

Yea, Clark is a pretty good blocking TE and he wasnt even considered a receiving threat until Rex came in. He was a reliable target for Chicago last year.

Everyone would be better in the right system, but Berrian as a player is strictly a deep ball threat down the sidelines. He stinks across the middle. Grossman throws a pretty good deep ball and Berrian strongly benefited from having Rex if you believe it or not.

nobody can predict injuries, Briggs' holdout could hurt them, but they've got a good enough defense either way, to say that they'll have the worst record in the league after they just played for the Super Bowl is rediculous

it happened to the raiders, bucs, eagles (partially), and rams you could make a case for. All those teams had superbowl runs and there next season did horribly.

    Average?!

Why is everyone refering to Gage as average?! He caught 4 balls for the Bears last year!!! If anything he is slightly/barely/whatever above no one!!!
