Titans agree to terms with OT Michael Oher

Even Madden has the guy rated as a 79 overall, and they usually do a pretty decent job rating players.. He's hardly worth what we signed him for. It was a very bad move, along with releasing Fitzy.

Can't trust that guy. He didn't watch every snap Oher took in 2013 like I'm doing... He doesn't have his facts straight.

 

Dumping Fitz is nothing TBH, he sucks.

As for the Madden reference, a 79 rated rookie is a 1st round selection. Signing Oher saves us a top pick.

 

Am I too late to make a comment about the movie "The Blindside" or to talk about how I want to bang Sandra Bullock?

 

Any rookie who is a 79 overall is likely a high prospect who has a good chance of becoming a franchise player. This scrub is hardly that. You saw how Warmack played last year.. we put up with it because he should develop into a good player. Oher will look like Warmack, getting blown up and over powered, only he won't develop into sh*t

 

So now we are saying that British nerds and EA sports nerds are good at evaluating football players?

I'm only six games in, but I love what I see so far. Pass protection is excellent and run blocking is average.

PFF seems to think he's an awful run blocker and an average pass protector... Not seeing that at all.

This Ravens OL through six games is as bad as ours if not worse. And the majority of the problems are coming from the interior and left side of the OL.

I was not a proponent of signing Oher because I was worried we'd overpay. I actually don't consider 5 year/$20mil ($9.5mil) to be that bad. That's a pretty standard deal for a veteran RT. I'm now more happy with the deal after watching him play.

 

I believe its a value. The guy is still fairly young, can come in and play RT right away. Can also play LT if need be. I would prefer he didnt, but he can in a pinch. Given enough time and film, I can find flaw with any lineman if I look hard enough. Peeps now are just complaining to have something to complain about IMO.

 

Oher having good season is about 50/50
