The Steelers will suck this year, but the fact of the matter is that they're still the Steelers and this game is in Pittsburgh.

We beat them last year (when we were a bottom 5 team), so it's definitely a winnable game. It won't be easy.

Locker has to play smart and take care of the ball and CJ needs to have a good game. If you take a look at last year's game against them... that's exactly how we beat them. Hasselbeck took care of the ball and CJ had a good game. Defense was neither bad nor good. Luckily they don't have Wallace anymore, but we better watch out for that rookie speedster WR they have. He could kill us.

No one on the Steelers really scares me anymore... Polamalu is probably the one who scares me the most though. I can see him picking off Locker a couple times. He's not what he used to be, but it's just week 1 and he will be healthy.

FYI we haven't beaten the Steelers at Pittsburgh since 2003 (0-3 since then).

That reminds me, anyone have the gif of Big Ben shaking his head last year as bironas set up for the game winning field goal?

If we beat the Steelers or Chargers (both winnable games) the rest of our schedule isn't that hard. If we beat the teams we're supposed to beat we will be 10-6 or better. That's counting beating the Colts only once even though I think we have a good chance to beat them twice. Unfortunately though, if we lose our 1st 3 games I really don't think we will be much better than 8-8. We need to get our confidence early and push on from there. I'm just worried about the defense going against good qb's. We can be very good against the run, but I doubt we'll be able to stop good passing games.

And that's why Jerry Grey's defenses give up an average of over 350 yards per game. Plain and simple. Start with stopping second and third string players Jerry before you overlook what you may consider meaningless here in the pre season. Why do you still have a job as our defensive coordinator and Chris Palmer who performed far better during his brief tenure in Nashville doesn't? The numbers speak for themselves. Lovie Smith, you may get a job sooner than you think....oh wait, I forgot...not in Tennessee....

Oooh I didn't notice this at the time, Kenny taking on the silverback James Harrison

before this happens Harrison shoves Kenny, Kenny slaps him and this developed.

Their OLine stinks, Ben was running for his life against the Skins on Monday. They didn't look very good. If we don't win, we let one get away.

I'm pretty sure we beat the Steelers last year with like half their roster out, not hating on the win but I wouldn't let last year's game influence your decision about this year.
