Titans agreed to terms with third-round TE Jared Cook on a four-year contract. The deal includes a signing bonus of close to $700,000.

Cook made the biggest impression among Titans rookies during OTAs. Though he's a potential mismatch for opposing defenses, he's currently just third on the depth chart. With Bo Scaife a free agent after the season, though, Cook could easily lay claim to being the most valuable tight end prospect in Dynasty leagues.

I thought he was far and away the best value pick the Titans had in the '09 draft. While I don't think he'll put up great numbers his first or even second year, he'll be valuable almost immediately as a player who can create solid mismatches and a player you can't leave open consistently for opposing defenders. I'll be extremely interested in the progress of Cook.

He seems like a typical MR pick. Hopefully this one works out. He looks good.

gotta love it when your rookie TE is compared to the "size and speed" of Calvin Johnson
