I wonder if this will be a wake up call for Fisher: you don't win games simply by having the football a lot, you need to be able to score points as well.

 

No, if the coaches don't trust Young to go deep or if Young can't do it, they need to put somebody in who can do it (or they believe can do it).

 

he's thrown a couple nice deep balls and they've been dropped

 

Or caught but called incomplete.

 

Vince took a couple of shots down the field...and they were dropped or waved off by the refs. Plus, going deep really hasn't been Fisher's MO. Taking Young out of the game, especially when he's playing well, is counterproductive. Now could the coaches call for more deep balls? Perhaps. But I'm not really seeing what KFC could do in this game that Vince couldn't.

we need a WR, its that simple. Between White Henry and Brown we have 1 serviceable RB.

The defense started getting their act back together but we need AH healthy and need Hill gone hes a liability that simple.

 

I don't care what the reason is, but if you can't test a defence with the deep ball when they're playing with 1 safety you're not going to win many football games.

 

What leads to the belief that the recievers are getting open deep.
