Titans Defense Leads to 13-9 Win Over Raiders

    SUMMARY: The Titans defense had five sacks and two turnovers as RB LenDale White had a career-high 133 yards as Tennessee won their fifth game of the season 13-9 over the Raiders. "We got in a situation today where we had some difficulty throwing the football. They were taking some things away, and (we) had difficulty converting third downs. We hung in there and found a way to win this ballgame," coach Jeff Fisher said. QB Vince Young, returning from a quad strain which sidelined him last week was only 6 of 14 for 42 yards. A pass interference call wiped out a 44-yard gain, and three receivers dropped passes that could have been TDs. The Titans now have scored only five offensive touchdowns over the past four games.

    Without Lendale's huge performance and Henry's we would have lost this game. A lot goes out to them as well. The Faders shot themselves in the foot with 100 yards in penalties though.

    I'm just glad to see the team is in the right hands. For a moment I thought all those people critizicing Kerry Collins, Lendale, Schwartz, Henry and so on were on to something; it is clear they're not. Every one of them has proven his value to this team.
