SUMMARY: Coach Jeff Fisher commented this afternoon on scheming to slow down Ravens QB Steve McNair and indicated his defense must make things a difficult as possible for the former Titan by being where they need to be. "I think there’s a misconception as far as scheming against a quarterback because what you do is you set your defensive approach and scheme against that in which they do offensively," said Fisher. "The thing that makes it a big challenge this week is he just doesn’t make mistakes. He knows where to go with the football. Yes, he’s thrown a couple of interceptions; all quarterbacks do that. He knows what to do. He understands what to do in blitz. He knows when to pull it down and run. You have to be sound. We can’t get people out of position. We’ve got to make him make the perfect throws to keep drives alive."

McNair is going to dink and dunk like always. If we can shut down Mase and Heap we might have a chance.

Jeff, did you recently hire Captain Obvious to pen your headlines?

I think it communicates Fisher's "Captain Obvious" quote very well.

"We can't have people out of position".

Without that bit of coaching, our DBs might be running around in the secondary like this...

You could really nail that line by renaming the whoop emoticon as Lamont
