I say we sign Usain Bolt and put him at WR.

you have to be kidding us tuckfro. Most people have no problem pointing out when VY sucks it up. I know I dont... but I don't see how anyone can really fault him on his play today besides the interception

You're right, he'd just overthrow, under-throw, and throw behind Boldin.

believe it or not.. even when passes are slightly overthrown or underthrown.. a good WR bails their wr out more times then naught.

Did you watch the game? I did. In fact, I re-watched the first half. I have always been optimistic about VY, until tonight. Tonight's performance has changed my mind about VY's passing capability. I always thought he just needed to grow and mature - get the timing down, learn the reads, become more confident in the pocket. Now, I just don't think he has the ability to make simple throws accurately. I just hope he can continue to be the 'winner' that he has been for us.

I agree. Gage and McCairens bailed out VY on the slightly off-target balls. The rest were grossly off-target.

For some reason the term 'winner' gets under my skin. He won in college...with his legs. He won maybe 1-2 games in his pro career with the team on his shoulders...with his legs. He simply is not a passer. And the only reason the term 'winner' has stuck with him is because he is on a team that happens to have a ridiculous play making and run stuffing defense.

I'm still going through the NFL starting QB list and Vince isn't better than any of them.

McNair routinly floated ducks to Wycheck, who had to stop and reach behind to grab at balls all game.

Decent recieving corps would do VY some good. Hell a bad recieving corps would be an improvement.

i agree GOT.. this was a horrible showing by our WRs. I'm reasonably sure that they're play forced them to look for a WR more actively, and may have pushed Paul Williams to 2nd round or 1st round of cuts.

    You can't be serious.

McCareins slipped coming back for the ball and still got a hand on it. Gage lost a TD pass in the lights and pulled up. Both should have been caught. Young made some poor throws tonight but he didn't get any help from his receivers.
