    Bobo...

Get a damn clue. This video obviously shows the TE #87 clear on the other side of the field. If hope is the strong safety why isn't he on the TE side since that's what the term means. What do you think strong safety means?

If a young blaine bishop was on this team he would be the SS hands down and hope the FS. That's the whole idea. To have a real SS not some vegetable. If hope's role was more varied last year it was only because he was our only good safety.

The steelers sure considered him a FS. Did we sign him to play another position?

    S CHRIS HOPE

(on his interception for a TD)

I guess he was trying to throw it to me. I appreciate it. I think their tight end kind of ran an out route, but he turned though before the quarterback actually saw him. When he threw it, I made a nice break . The biggest thing about having the ball thrown to you is catching it. Keith Bulluck gave me a nice block and I had the opportunity to finish the play.

They always used to say ‘defensive backs and linebackers are receivers who can’t catch’. I played running back in high school and I take pride in scoring. So every time I get my hands on the ball I try to make something happen with it.

    Thanks bigtitan..

There were 2 TEs on that play. Jacksonville did run a lot of 2 TE..

My take on how the titans look at the safety position is that they want 2 guys who are big enough and tackle well enough to be SSs but can cover like a free safety. Because lamont is 220 lbs they thought he could fit that role and were obviously wrong. Now they bring in scott a real FS but like lamont a big guy. I hope he is better.. Problem is they are asking a lot out of players who just are not good enough.

For the titans to really get the type of player they better draft micheal griffin. I think it would be a lot easier just to plug in a real SS who at least supports the run and hits people. John lynch has hardly been a detriment to the teams he has been on..
