Okay... as you know the Superbowl winner always opens the season at home on a thursday. What do you guys think our chances are of playing in this game?

These are the 8 teams the Colts play at home.

    Houston- No chance in hell

Jacksonville- Good chance, they always play the colts tough, although they probably wont have any hype surrounding them in the offseason.

Denver- Another good chance, will probably be a playoff contender.

Kansas City- No way....not after the way they embarassed themselves in the playoffs.

New England- I almost feel like this is a lock......Although the NFL might want to save this meeting for later in the season.

New Orleans- "Americas" team- 2 explosive offenses, who wouldn't wanna see it.

    Tampa Bay- NO

Tennessee- The most Hyped rookie this year, a team that barely missed the playoffs, and had a very strong finish(Just like the Dolphins a year ago). Not to mention we played 2 nailbiters against the Colts including a Win. Probably need a big free agent signing to get in this game though.

Heres how I rank the Chances

    1. New England
    2. New Orleans
    3. Tennessee
    4. Jacksonville
    5. Denver
    6. Kansas City
    7. Tampa Bay
    8. Houston

My guess would be New Orleans. Like you said, the Pats matchup is better to save until later in the season.

    saints @ indy.

we all know the nfl loves peyton and we all know the nfl loves high scoring. that would be the ideal match-up.

I'd think saints. Seems like they usually pick the conference losers.
