Titans linebacker Colin McCarthy’s season will end with five straight missed starts.

Coach Mike Munchak said on Thursday McCarthy is not expected to play against the Jaguars because of lingering concussion symptoms.

McCarthy hasn’t played since suffering the concussion at Jacksonville on November 25.

Tight end Craig Stevens is also expected to miss Sunday’s game with a concussion.

In addition to Chris Johnson, running back Jamie Harper also missed practiced again on Thursday with an ankle injury. Both players are expected to practice on Friday.

Linebacker Will Witherspoon (chest) and receiver Damian Williams (foot) also missed practice Thursday, but could practice Friday. Receiver Kendall Wright (ribs) practiced again on Friday and is still expected to play. Cornerback Ryan Mouton (hamstring) practiced on a limited basis.
