Game Day Thread Titans @ Jaguars GDT

I said the same thing to my wife. The team came out too flat today. Division games are almost always the hardest, but hopefully they will get better next year. Season may not be over if Cincy wins. We still can play for the title next week I believe, but we certainly lost control of our destiny today. As far the Jags being horrible, they are... However this isn't like the game we lost to the Colts a few years ago when they were the best in the Jags are a poorly coached team, but have talent.

Things can always be worse. Regardless of if this team make the playoffs or not. I'm proud of the product that stepped on the field this year. It's been the first time in a long time I've been able to enjoy so much Titans football week in and week out. The first time I've been able to watch a game know the outcome would result in a loss. For that I tip my hat to the team, the coaching staff, and front office. The season may not be over but I'm super pumped for next year. This team has made tremendous strides and we got a Top 5 - 10 pick next year.... Tough loss but I really enjoyed this season. I don't know about the rest of you...But I'm fine with how this season played out even without a playoff bearth. That was just icing on the cake...

Yep. Mariota cannot handle cover 0 press coverage and heavy blitzing.

 

Hard to when you have to scheme your receivers to get open cause none of them can win 1 v 1 matchups.

 

He had Matthews wide open for a TD and missed badly. Why show him any respect? No respectable QB misses those. One day you all will face facts. He can make about 70% of the throws required to someone better than Trent Dilfer

 

Tough to game to watch. I, too, think they overlooked the Jags (even though they said they didn't), and I do believe the Pro Bowl announcements were a distraction since there were 5 guys and 3 alternates that made it this year. Crazy how the whole team was off today.

 

Happens to every qb of all experience levels. I dont over react to a bad game. We are ahead of schedule in turning the team around.

 

lol check completion percentages on passes over 20 yards and let me know which qbs are throwing 80%+ Mariota went from last previous year to top 5 this year. Good analysis!
