You know, the more I think about it the more I think maybe us taking a guard at 10 is just a smokescreen. I mean, every time I hear Munch open his mouth he all but says "we're going guard". Just seems kind of weird.

Been saying this for what seems like months now. Cooper is our man.

    Look man it is 4-20

The Grizz/Clips series tips off tonight

    Orange and White game

I'm not in a sober mindset

I'll be pissed. I want a legitimate scary pass rusher.

If Jordan is there, and we pass, I will be furious. Outside of that, I can live with a guard at 10.

Our line sucked donkey balls last year, why would you not want to upgrade?

Andy Levitre was our upgrade, and according to the contract, is a major upgrade. And we're also going to spend the 10th overall pick on a Guard this year as well; when Munch has been quoted over the years as saying that taking a Guard in the first is just not congruent with this, and many other teams drafting philosophy?

In that interview on 104.5, he said that Guards are deep in this draft and would be available in rounds other than the first. He was going to leave it at that, but Brent Dougherty then made him play the role of Cooper's and Warmack's agent, and made Munch talk about those two. After hearing the interview, my interpretation was that we weren't taking a Guard at ten. Or at least that isn't the plan, depending on how the previous nine picks go, I guess anything is possible, but I don't think it's likely.

    We did upgrade in FA!

Also... We have a 2nd and two 3rd round picks to find a solid guard.

Surely the two Hall of Fame linemen on our staff can find a diamond in the rough down the draft board somewhere.

Yes to Dion Jordan no to Ziggy Ansah

Seriously, watch the tape on them, its night and day.

I don't even think it's a smokescreen. Everyone just assumes we're going guard so it's the only position the organization gets asked about. If a guy like Jordan or Floyd falls to ten how does anyone justify taking a ****ing guard?
