Jim Wyatt just did an article on the Titans and team mid-season awards. I thought it would be fun to do my own version. Here's Jims awards:

    Here's my version, whats yours?

Offensive MVP: Kenny Britt - 7 rec TDs in 6 games. 1 TD in 5 straight games, he's been a constant deep threat and our best WR.
Defensive MVP: Michael Griffin - He's finally back, back to his pro-bowl form. Having a legit safety down field who can tackle and cover has been great for us.
Biggest Disappointment: Chris Johnson - his #s aren't bad (721 yards & 8 TDs). But if you watch the games he gets -2 yard loss - 1 yard gain 80% of his runs, then busts a big one to get decent yardage. What happened to the 2.5K yards rushing?
Biggest Surprise: Jason Babin - He had 16.5 sacks in 6 seasons before coming to the Titans, he now has 7 sacks in 1/2 a season. When we signed Babin I had no idea who he was, I did not expect him to do this well, let alone start.
Best Rookie: Alterraun Verner - No argue here.
Most Improved: Jason Jones - He's an absolute monster in the middle now. He's always been good and had all this potential, but he's taken it to the next level!
Most Dependable: Stephen Tulloch - He's a tackling machine, 1 on 1 tackle 99% of the time Tulloch will make the tackle.
Most Controversial: Cortland Finnegan - He can hit hard and tackle, but his coverage has been iffy this year. I've been confused with Cortland this year.
The last 3 I agree with Mr. Wyatt.

I was going to do one, but mine would have been identical. Good calls.

    I like them all....save one.

Mr. Dependable to me is Vince Young. He deserves a lot of credit. Kudos to those who make him offensive MVP. I'll give that to Britt

Tulloch is a very very very close second.

Only change I would make is Biggest Diasppointment: Scaife

He has barely been visible and over the last 3 games he's made some bad dropped passes on key plays.

Very surprising for a man who will be a potential FA next season.
