Michael Turner is most likely done in ATL as well.

Citing "those in the know," Dan Pompei of the National Football Post confirms the Falcons will likely move on from Michael Turner.
Per Pompei, the Falcons "look to be in the running back market" and will likely pursue a younger back after 31-year-old Turner's latest late-season fade. NFL scouts told Pompei that Turner has lost his ability to "bounce and cut." His $6.9 million base salary will make releasing Turner an easy decision. The Falcons ought to have a close eye on Alabama's Eddie Lacy in the draft.

I think the title of this thread says it all. Mostly everybody believes we need a change of pace back, primarily a big phsyical back to get tough yards.

I personally believe that a powerful running back isnt going to change anything until we upgrade our offensive line.

Ahmad Bradshaw is like 5'9 220...He's powerful enough...him and stephen jackson are the best backs available...if we could get either one of them for 3 mil a year we should do it

I'm sure that's the plan ;-) It would be nice to get a back through FA since we could save another draft pick for a need on the team. I would still like to bring in Le'Veon Bell though. It would be a perfect addition especially since we will most likely not be signing CJ again. Typing that made me feel disappointed since he has been our only real entertainment over the last five years and that statement just made me even more disappointed... WTF???

Bradshaw has always been severely underrated.

Bradshaw is not 220, but does run hard like a big guy.

My pick would be Chris Ivory, thats the best FA big back IMO
