HOUSTON -- Bravo to Gary Kubiak.

This is a chance at a statement game for the Texans and he just showed what kind of statement by going for it on a fourth-and-1 from the Tennessee 19 instead of kicking a field goal to tie it at 3-3.

But the Texans moved on to stall and kicked a field goal for the tie on the first play of the second quarter.

Matt Schaub isn't showing the courage of his coach.

I wrote this morning about how Albert Haynesworth was confident the Titans would be able to get in Schaub's face and rattle him and they have. He's thrown several times while bracing for a hit or back-pedaling with people in his face. He got called for grounding once on a questionable call, then didn't get a flag on a very similar play. William Hayes banged into him and drew a roughing the passer call.

The Texans are going to have to give Schaub better protection if they are going to stay in this game and he's going to have to perform better under fire.
