Titans running back Javon Ringer won’t be ready to play any time soon, but Coach Mike Munchak said the team plans to be patient with him.

Ringer tore his left MCL in the 30-7 loss at Minnesota. He’s still at least four weeks away.

“He’s on target like we thought,’’ Coach Mike Munchak said. “He’s feeling better, but it’s still hard to tell. But he should be able to get back this year.”

Munchak said the Titans have no plans of placing Ringer on Injured Reserve, however.

“The swelling is going down, and now I am taking it day by day,’’ Ringer said. “I am just trying to get better.”
