Fluker's physical dimensions are basically identical to Carl Nicks. Nicks was an Ot in college and is an all pro guard.

Jump ahead to the 1:25 mark and tell me you don't want a player like this on our team. Watch his block on the 2 point conversion play. He is laying on top of somebody as Yeldon runs by. Watch his block on the TD run from that drive.

Mcshay and Kiper both have Fluker going by the 12th pick in their mocks. Kiper has him going just behind us at 11.

So how is taking him at 10 so outrageous? I think he is as good a guard prospect as Cooper and many of you would love that pick at 10.

As for Andre Smith his agent is asking for $9M a year which is why he is unsigned. We can't afford that.

Youre not alone, I dont want Fluker either. He's fat, ugly, stupid, probably smells, and is a super boring pick at 10

Agreed. You don't draft a right tackle with the 10th pick and then play him at guard. Not when Warmack or Cooper are more than likely sitting there. Way better picks out there than Fluker. That would be just the kind of dumb move this organization would make and thats what scares me.

Well in all fairness, finding top Tackle talent is hard, this pick would set us for another 5+ years at the position. Dave Stewart is aging and is up for a new contract soon, Fluker would simply slide over to RT and save us the pain of having to replace Stewart when that time comes. Tackles are vital to the success of any team, they're more important than Guards, thats why you take him at 10, but I would be pissed to go that route, Stewart's next deal will be affordable I think, so pass on Fluker.

That's where I differ. I don't see him as top tackle talent.
