Titans Preseason Games Announced

    SUMMARY: The 2008 preseason schedule has been announced and the Titans will host the St. Louis Rams and Oakland Raiders while playing at the Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers. The opener will be at home on Aug. 8, 9 or 10 against the Rams. The second will also be at home against the Raider on Aug. 16, a game that will be nationally televised on Fox at 7 p.m. The final two preseason games will be on the road with the game against the Falcons being the weekend of Aug. 21-24 and then to Green Bay the weekend of Aug. 28-30. The regular season schedule should be released within the next two weeks.

    I like the scheduling, as a fan.

    Two home games to enjoy early in August, then minimum 3 weeks before the real thing starts. Get to enjoy summer football and then a few weeks of good hype after attending back-to-back preseason games. And the first look at the 2008 team will be at home.

    More like every preseason. And we always kick their butts too. :grrhee:
    I used to love watching us play Brett Favre. I'm sure going to miss that.

    Can someone explain how preseason games are put together. Why is it we play GB every year, but have not played some teams ever? I'm not complaining.. GB is my second favorite team, but i'd like to know how preseason games are decided upon.

    I think there aren't any real restrictions, and some teams just develop relationships where they do this a lot. Green Bay and Atlanta are our two biggies.

    I'm just sad that they two home games are the first two, where there's so little relevant play time. Not that it really matters, since preseason is all irrelevant anyway.
