sure he does, we need an extra pass rusher. Morgan and Wimbley played 80 percent of the Defensive snaps, and as the season progressed their wear and tear showed

I'm not saying "hey we good, we don't need depth" lol yes we need another DE. We've went over this before in other threads. However I would hope we draft an immediate starter at 10.

I would not be unhappy with drafting Ziggy tho.

Morgan hasn't lived up to his draft stock, and our pass rush by our front 4 was pretty mediocre. So not only would Ziggy be an instant starter and hopefully double digit sack artist, but we would have a better rotation to keep fresh bodies on the field. I hope that enough teams get scared away by his limited playing time in college so he can fall to us.

Ziggy isn't an instant starter on any team.

Wow good article. Makes rhodes even more impressive.

The one thing i can't know about the corners is how coachable they are that is a big factor too.

I know many people here seem to think that we just need pass rush, and that will fix the secondary. Well the inverse is true as well... better coverage will turn some of these hurries into coverage sacks.

Someone posted a stat on here a while back that QB's facing our defense had a higher release time than against any other defense, well, something like that.

We need to upgrade our DB's. We have 2 #2 CB's, a weak FS, and just a patch at SS.

Yup. I think a change to a more aggressive man defense would help as well.

They said we're going to blitz more this year so we need to have DB's that can hold their own and cover. The more I think about the more we need to go CB and S pretty early.

His combination of size and speed is intriguing, and I love his passion for the game, but I just worry that if this kid gets in a rut, he's finished..

He's spoken about being confident and that if he's not feeling confident, he can't play at a high level. I'm sure this is true for everyone, but the fact he talks about it makes me wonder a little if he's easily bothered.
