And there's a good argument against pursuing Simeon Rice (who I still want) too aggressively... injuries are going to happen, and we should have the money to fill the positions when they do. We got lucky last year with Haynesworth out, and they picked up Tony Brown to just fill in... now it looks like he's going to be a very solid backup or possibly even compete for a starting spot.

haha - that's one way to get the media to stop talking about Pacman every time they cover the Titans...

I am sorry to hear about this. Based upon what I know about Antonio Johnson he is an easy man to root for. A hard worker who had trouble with his academic eligibility, he started his college career at junior college and worked his way up to play at Mississippi State. And at his post-draft interview he sounded like a genuinely nice guy. He is a project but I would not count him out just yet.

first off Roby and Roy Wms both practiced yesterday am.. did not see Jones out there and saw P wms in his spot with Moulds and Davis in a 3 WR package.. Johnson was walking around yesterday with AH so it might have been a longer standing injury that has been stressed ..will have to see ..

I think some rookies (or players that aren't conditoned enough) come into camp and get a rude awakening about the power of NFL starters. I wonder who he was going against when he tore it?

mahelona will step up, don't know if albert can...Laboy won't make it to the first regular season game before he is hurt and Rhien Long is gone.

Long might just hang around now even though I doubt he does much a torn achilles is devastating to any players career.

Mahelona couldn't ask for a better opportunity to step up. Sape did decent today from what the TC reports said.
