Titans sign 3 to futures contracts

    The Titans signed kicker Maikon Bonani, defensive end Marcus Dixon and tight end Jason Schepler to futures contracts on Friday.

    The 6-foot-4, 295-pound Dixon has 22 games of NFL experience over three seasons with the New York Jets (2010-12). He totaled 20 tackles and 2.5 sacks during that stretch.

    The 6-2, 274-pound Schepler signed as an undrafted college free agent this past spring with the San Francisco 49ers and was waived following training camp.

    Bonani re-joins the Titans after originally signing with the team last spring as an undrafted free agent. He was waived following training camp.

    Wide receiver Isaiah Williams is expected to sign a free-agent contract with the Titans, according to his agent, Josh Stevens. The 6-2, 201-pound Williams has been signed by several teams since 2009, but has never played in an NFL game.

    He wasn't terrible. What makes you say that? To me this means Bironas might me out of a job next year. Does he get guaranteed money next year? I Honestly thought that Bironas was going to lose his job last year to Bonani.

    Oops, my bad.. I guess he's good inside 35 yards. Don't expect anything past 36 yards from Bonani.

    Bonani and Bironas are BOTH gone as of today! I bet we draft a kicker in a late round that hopefully sticks for years. See you Bironass!

    Did someone see Bonani play to get this assessment that he's so bad...

    he doesn't even have a kick in the NFL. Are you guys claiming he's terrible because he missed a preseason kick or two?

    How many kicks did he miss preseason?

    He missed a 47 yarder. That doesn't make him terrible...

    especially for an inexperienced kicker.
