Titans sign Daren Bates

Who?

 

Not even mad. Out special teams was so bad, I'd gladly sign guys with a position title of "special teams ace".

 

I'm actually glad they address getting some depth in Klug and Bates. Also, makes it easier to appreciate signings like this when I don't expect them to make any big moves.

Bates is a big hitter! Hopefully won't get penalized making big hits but keep it clean and get us a lot of special teams tackles and maybe a few FF's!

This is definitely a sign JRob understands our ST's were bad and we need some 'playmakers' for it on the coverage side!

 

Did we really sign this guy?

I ask because the Titans have made the Cyprien/Trawick signings official. Ryan was very late last night so I understand that one, but Bates was apparently our first signing out of the gate. Surprised this hasn't been formalized yet.
