Love what we are doing this offseason!
Anybody know the numbers yet?
And Hasselbeck did something to stand out? Hasselbeck was and is done. We spent the entire summer having this debate, it's over, move on. There was no excuse; Stats. and/or eyeball test told the coaches everything they needed to know. I know Locker isn't anything special, but at no point was Hass. "clearly" the better QB.....he is classy, but don't let that influence your memory of his play on the field.
well it has to be under what Hass got which was 2 years 8 mil
Anyone who thinks Fitzpatrick isn't twice the QB Locker is, you're kidding yourself. Locker isn't that intelligent, or at least nothing to brag about, he throws nothing but fastballs and has zero touch, he couldn't hit the ocean from a boat in the pacific.
Fitzpatrick can fit it in tight windows, he doesn't have the strongest arm, but a lot of greats haven't. He's smart as hell, he'll pick up the playbook and be further along than Locker by midseason.
Guy was playing on an AWFUL team in buffalo, no o-line, no defense, constantly playing from behind, and STILL outperformed locker by a long shot. He put up decent stats there, he'll put up better stats here with a hopefully stellar offensvie line and better all around receiving corps.
He played MUCH better than Locker did in the preseason. Locker was SUPPOSED to beat out Hass for the starting job. Which he didn't, it was handed to him because we need to know what we got. Stats and eyeball test told everyone that Hass was better prepared to start the season.
Sure does sound similar...
Yeah but Fitzpatrick was actually playing well. He wasn't a part of the problem. Locker was CLEARLY a big part of the problem, he's a drive killer, has no feel for the redzone, he blows.
Well he did have some dude named "Levitre" who he will be re-joined with
you are so bias it is not even funny
