If he's as good of a blocker as Fasano was, it's a good move

 

Far better run blocking grade on the year than Fasano actually. His run blocking grade through 116 snaps this year would have him top 20 in the league for a TE. Like I've said in other threads, Jonnu Smith has no place being on the field on running downs. He's absolutely horrible at run blocking. This could have a surprisingly significant impact. Love the move.

 

Good signing. One less white TE on the streets that can come in and gash our defense.

 

As long as he doesn't get hit with any false starts, I'm fine with the signing.
A week ago, we had sets where Kelly was lined up as an eligible receiver. Every play ended up being a jet sweep to Henry, with only the last play bringing any success.
Maybe with guy can help with sealing the edge for Henry.

 

A true in-line blocking TE was missing from the roster. Jonnu wasn't cutting it in the run game. I like the move!

Yea nothing exciting about this guy but he was recently let go by the Bucs for a more athletic type of TE... Not like hes been at home since cuts in August. He's also got some solid experience for a TE3..

Not a great move but with Jones going down its a solid week13 transaction..

 

Is it? We just went down a starting DLineman, and picked up a 4th TE who won’t be active on game day. I don’t see how he’s a relevant pickup
