    Don't get your panties in a wad there Smurfette..I never said it gave them an advantage on the field - only that black as a color is more intimidating than baby blue.

    I certainly never said black would help them win more games - my only inference is that it would make them look tougher. If you honestly believe a team like the old Tampa Bay Creamcicles or Oilers looked as intimidating as the Raiders black duds, you're off your rocker...
    Please show your math on your "light colors in Sep" comment.. A white shirt is cooler in the sun than a dark shirt of the same material is - does that always equal a win on Sunday, of course not - but it certainly makes sense that you might have a slight edge at a cooler temp in summer than if you're overheating on the field..

    You're the only one getting sucked into that argument.

    But they did change - to light blue, which is pro sports has been all but uncommon thru the years- Royals, Titans, Jays, Brewers, Lions, Oilers, Braves, Phillies and so on.
    What they should have done was stay navy...
