Pre-Game Thread Titans @ Texans

Held a pretty good ATL offense to 10 points last week and could not score more than 7 even after getting several chances late to tie or win.

This week it will be different! Because a suck butt team like the Texans will drop 28+ points.

It's the Titans curse...

 

Mariota will get a win.

Mett will get a loss.

 

Yates will have a come back game and BOB will get a raise and extension.

 

oh boy.........

 

It's gonna be a barn burner....

 

If MM plays this week, then I think we win. This is not the same Houston D that we are used to ... they are giving up an average of 28.4 points per game right now. I think our O can have success against them with MM at the helm (assuming he his healthy)

Our D should be able to handle their O pretty easily, especially with Foster out.

But we are the Titans, so that means we probably find a way to blow this game.

I have serious reservations putting an injured Mariota behind our shaky azz line with Watt licking his chops.

 

Somebody has to win this final preseason game, right?

With week one approaching, we both need to just avoid injury.

 

Assuming MM is a no go, I think we should just put CBJ in the game. Colts beat the Texans with 40 y.o. Hasselbeck. Our D is much better than the Colts, so I think we could beat Houston with CBJ.

Mett just makes too many mistakes, but can't move the ball enough to make up for it. At least with CBJ, we may have trouble moving the ball but he should play smart enough for us to squeak out a win.
