After we go 16-0, the strength of schedule will drop with all those losses pinned on our opponents.

I think instead of a coin toss at the Cincy game, Pacman and Henry should tie their hands together and knife fight "Beat It" style!

you do realize how little the league does to determine the opponents, right?

they're entirely set up by what division we're in and where we finished in our division

this strength of schedule bs means nothing, because teams are going to improve and get worse buy 2007, all it is is a bunch of a statistics, fun to look at but really dont mean much.

The league has LOTS to do with it. Why do you think the schedule was postponed? Because they didn't like the matchups. Every season you have games that you hope to see played again and magically they usually happen within the first few weeks of the next season. Coincidence?
Your superbowl teams always play in preseason again. Certain teams get all the breaks playing extremely easy schedules despite having good records the previous years while other teams that struggled to win 4 games have to play almost all playoff contenders outside their division.

It's not some strange coincidence that we get the short end of the stick when it comes to EVERYTHING. Fisher does more than coach in this league, and my guess is he doesn't have many friends. Only makes sense.

i think the biggest reason our schedule is ranked so hard is because the colts are in our division

Ok, the league can control when you play certain teams, but they've set up a system by which all of your games are determined by what division you're in and where you finished in that division. Here's a breakdown (I'm writing this for an AFC team, just switch AFC and NFC each time I say that for the system for NFC teams)

Every team plays each team in their division twice (six games)
Every team within an AFC division will play every team in one other AFC division on a three year cycle (four games)
Every team within an AFC division will play every team in one other NFC division on a four year cycle (four games)
The remaining two games are against teams that finished in the same position within the other two divisions in the AFC (aside from the team's own and the one every one in their division plays)

So, for the Titans this year, we are playing all of our divisional opponents twice, we play every team in the AFC West (Chargers, Chiefs, Broncos, and Raiders)and every team in the NFC West (Seahawks, 49ers, Rams, and Cardinals) as well as the Bengals and Jets because they finished second in the AFC North and East respectively.

The main reason that the Raiders' schedule appears so hard is that they're in such a hard division, two of their divisional opponents finished 9-7 and the third finished a league best 14-2, add to that the fact that they're playing the AFC South, which had two teams finish 8-8 and one finish 12-4, and that's a pretty hard schedule on paper.

our schedule might be the 4th hardest but it really doestnt look that tough.
