    Pola was under contract with the Titans and left to coach at USC.

    That is called breech of contract and is indeed grounds for a law suit.

    Which is subject to a fee. Which is ALWAYS specified in almost any work contract.

    The suit wasn't against Pola, it was against USC for not asking the Titans to interview.

    Which I don't think they are required to do.

    So, it had no basis.
