The Texans are a horrible road team. Not just the normal NFL being on the road bad, but horrible. They are 1-18 against teams that end up with winning records on the road during the Kubiak Era. Kubiak is a bad headcoach. He makes bonehead decisions , is a horrible clock manager and gets brain freeze late and close. Looking at the remaining schedule the Texans will end up no better than 10-6 and thats with some luck. I expect them to be 8-8 or 9-7 now that Mario Williams is done. Andre Johnson is hurt worse than they are letting on and while be may be able to play it wont be anywhere near 100%. Kubiak knows that if he doesnt win this season he is GONE.

But dont worry Texans fans... You have 67 year old Derrick Mason and rookie "high motor guy" Brooks Reed to come in and save the day.

Only from Houston radio schills and Texans fans do I hear that term " high motor" used so much to describe Texan players. Is that like saying that a woman has a nice personality?? I think so....

The Titans can win the division. I actually think he may come down to the last game of the season. Our Titans can be a good team, but they arent great. They are still rebuilding to some degree. So we have nothing to lose. This was supposed to be a 4-12 year. It isnt going to be.

Well said. You know what high motor means? The guy plays hard, but doesn't have the talent or brains to do anything with it.

This. Their defense is built around the fact that Mario Williams gets pressure on the QB. And it's not just that he's gone, they don't even have a decent replacement for him. That's bigger than people are making it out to be.

It's not like us losing one guy on our defense, because our defense is more of a unit. Theirs was really all about that one dude.

Could almost say the same with their offense, it all revolved around AJ and for good reason but without him they'll struggle. They'll rely on Foster a lot, but many teams will simply plug the running lanes and blitz like crazy to stop Foster racking up yardage.

    Texans are done.

The Texans may get even more beat up today as the Ravens will be loading up and coming after Schaub. Schaub is hurting. He has a shoulder problem and a quad problem. The Texans season and the collective mental health of Texans fans rests on the next 2 games. But it all begins and could end right here today in Baltimore if the Ravens hammer them. They will start thinking .. " here we go again". This Texans team is a direct reflection of their HC Kubiak and that means they are mentally weak. Bringing in washed up Wade Phillips didnt help either as he isnt exactly a ball of fire in the mental strength catagory. Wade is weak also. Look at his Cowboy teams as the most recent example.

Texan fan believes for what reason I dont know, that the AFC South is theirs to lose. 1st it isnt theirs, they have never had it and 2nd they have discounted the Titans since day 1 like the Titans are a nothing franchise. Hopefully the hardest lesson they will ever learn starts today!

I'm not taking anything for granted but Ravens at home after a bye - pretty good odds, especially given the Houston injuries.

Schaub is a very good QB but he finds ways to lose games at the very end like he did last week and last year against the Ravens (pick 6 in OT). AFCS should be a fight to the wire.
