Titans want to sign Brown by Tuesday

Why are all of Y'all so mad we didn't want your RB/QB. I thought Y'all were happy with him.

Still say Schaub will have more TD passes and Fewer INTs than Y'all QB. Not that that is much of a streach.

Anyway back on topic.

I think Y'all should sign Brown. He may only be a lower tier back, but hey the rest of your backs are bottom tier.

Oh yeah LW will beast teams all day who cares if he is in horrible shape and and can't go a 40 play practice without being winded he'll dominate don't worry.

We have been trying to let him run all offseason so far zero progress. Somebody on his back while he runs would only do him good at this point maybe we can tie Piller to his back.

you did to want Vince Young. You said as much on that other forum. I and others here can recall that because we thought it was so funny. You went on to say you had changed your outlook and were presently pleased with the drafting of Williams. Don't lie man.. When you root for sub-par teams you have to have a short memory but not that short.

I never said I wanted Young. I said I wanted to trade down and that yes the Williams pick grew on me. I never said who I wanted to trade down and get in THAT thread. Before that draft, like a lot of people I wanted us to trade down and go OL.


I am talking about this coming season. This is a thread about picking up Brown isn't it. Everybody knows who the reach pick was. CHRIS HENRY. He was even listed in some predraft mags as a UDFA. Yes I will freely admit that the Titans swep the Texans LAST SEASON, but please pay closer attention. I was talking about this UP COMING season. The Titans have no threats at RB, except Vince Young.

Ready to get swept again? Hope so! I dont see how you can make any comments about the titans... look at your team..yeeah...and in regards to Brown coming back... i guess from a Texans' fan perspective... all i can really guess is this about Brown, 4 carries for 44 yards..

the idea has recently been floated that our offensive line is so much improved and our system is so sound that any dummy with a jock strap and helmet can run for 1200 yards just like they say about Denver. hahaha... I know that's good for laughs and all but just think about it for a quick minute. It's tried to be explained why T.Henry all of a sudden was made to look like a stud. Seems the smoke and mirrors is two fold. Things Vince Young does (the roll outs, bootlegs, etc) create larger running lanes. Safeties play honest. Our lineman being upgraded get on blocks and WHAM! (madden fx) the back comes through for positive gains time and time again. Maybe the prevailing idea is that any of these guys can be productive like T.Henry was because of the way that Vince Young operates.

Explain the good running games mobile qb teams develop? Mike Vick in his time in Atlanta has transformed that franchise. Into what, I'm uncertain but they will run the damn ball and run it effectively. Vick has worked with some great rushers.

Now let me just clear up something for you man. Young is not a RB and I'll tell you why. While he is making his pass reads and he sees that a defense man is not at home he will make a mad dash for the sticks, a first down... whatever. He's not trying to run over anyone. Contrary to popular belief, he is not a *******. If there is a first down laying there he is gonna pick it up. He does this because he can. It is not a common ability. There will always be another pass opportunity down field. If he sees the chance to move the chains or score (with his feet) he will.

Another thing. You know that Young is going to be fine passing the ball. He's coming along as good as anyone at this stage in his career. It's really hard to criticize a rookie who managed to get in the pro bowl and win the ap's oroy.
