The Titans have opted not to retain offensive linemen Kevin Matthews and Kyle DeVan, two exclusive rights free agents.

They are now unrestricted free agents.

Matthews, son of Hall of Famer and current Titans offensive line coach Bruce Matthews, played in 14 games last season, including two starts. He’s played in 17 games with the Titans since joining them as an undrafted free agent in 2010.

DeVan played in four games in 2012. He’s also spent time with the Jets and Colts during his career.

Was DeVan really a surprise. We cut him like 4 times last year but had to keep resigning him because of injuries.

Thank God we figured out just because his last name is Matthews doesn't make him good.

Pssh, like Kyle DeVan is staying cut. That guy just sleeps in the parking lot until they need him for a week.

I'd like to see Deuce retained as a backup. He was the only competent lineman along with Velasco when we had that patchwork front last year.

    Matthews is kind of surprising.
