Seattle dropped Houshmandzadeh and signed Mike Williams.

    :suspect:

    I'd better read that again...

Is this a joke? Is the coach Polish or something?

Maybe I missed something, but the last time I checked all three of these guys are ballers. You can hate all you want, but I'd trade Britt Washington Gage and Hawkins for these three in a heartbeat. They have three guys who can catch the ball, get open, and take contact. The Ravens offense is going to be nasty, they may just be my Super Bowl pick. As much as that disgusts me.

They would fit into our offense better but I think what Toronto was trying to say is that none of those guys can catch the deep ball well...

I was thinking the same thing.

Would anyone prefer to have N.Washington, Gage, Britt, Hawkins over the Ravens top 3?

The only argument I can think is Britt is very young so maybe he'll be a baller for a decade. But that's a big maybe.

That's simply inaccurate. None of them have Randy Moss or Andre Johnson speed and explosion, but these are three very good, versatile receivers. Flacco can throw the ball to anyone on the field and count on a play being made.

I wasn't arguing a point though, I just interpreted what Toronto said...

I agree that none of those are number one WR's.

Right now our guys aren't all that much different and in a few years only Boldin will be playing. Britt has some similarities to Bodin, Washington to Mase and Housh to Gage. Really the only question is if Britt can get his ehad on straight because he could be better than any of those guys.

I disagree on the last part. While Mason's jets are more like a two seater light aircraft nowadays, he is still exceptionally good at catching over his shoulder along the sidelines. He's still a deep threat as far as I'm concerned. It's not only about separation after 15 yards. Mason may be one of the better ball trackers suiting up these days.
