I think we go DE if one of the top guys falls to us. If no one is there, we go after Reggie. Also, call me a Florida homer, but no one is talking at all about Jarvis Moss. This is a guy that a lot of scouts had as a possible first rounder/ early second and that was before the National championship game. He is expected to declare soon. Anyone who has watched UF games this year knows that this guy is a serious speed rusher. He is far from a "complete" DE, but he can get to the QB. He has been compared to Kearse since he made it on campus. A staph infection in his hip slowed him until the last two seasons. I expect him to have tremendous numbers at the combine.
Anyways, I think if we can get an impact DE in the first, we can use Lowry or fuller for Lamonts replacement. I'd rather have Reggie back there, but I don't see us getting an impact pass rusher and Reggie Nelson, unless we get a steal in the 2nd or later rounds.

I was inclined to believe that after Troupe got hurt but What I heard is that Chow has lost all confidence in him as a pass Catcher and route runner........he just does not want to acclimate...........and Kinney is done..........so we are severely short.............one guy who may fill both holes.........is Brian Leonard in two.......he is a great RB/FB/HB and can do many things for an O..........he would be an ideal pick up in two.........but I hear he is hottly sought after.................

A good TE for our system would be Daniel Graham in FA. He'd be reasonably priced, an adequate receiver, and a very good run blocker. It would leave money to throw at defense.

yeah, Jarrett is actually a great route runner- but thats what happens when people want to force the Mike Williams comparison on him- they play incredibly different...

shh, Im glad a lot of great DE's are declaring- Moss I think will fly under the radar to possibly the 3rd- there we should snag him- he's a Jevon Kearse clone...

  6. i would be happy with any of the front 4 on the gators team, all of them are complete studs from what i saw in the championship game

I say go w/ DJ. We have not had a truely reliable WR since Mason left. I also think that DJ could have lots of success in his 1st year. I believe it is an easier transition from college to the pros for WR's than it is for defensive players. I would like to see our team addressing the CB and DE situation in beagency and maybe even the FS situation as well, if not I believe we may be able to pick up a solid free safety in the 2nd round. I believe we will be successful in free agency after looking at the success we had last season.

there's typically a three year buffer period for WRs. go back and look at some of the guys who are successful today.

I wouldn't mind having any of the BPA at DE, FS, or WR when we roll around. If Dwayne Jarrett is still there though I think I would be leaning towards him over just about anyone. (Except Calvin Johnson of course)

I doubt Dwayne Jarrett falls to 19. He might be better than Mike Williams, and he went 9th after a year off.
