This always makes me laugh, Romo had what 25 4th quarter comebacks? Not many QBs had a higher passer rating than Romo in the last 10 years in the 4th quarter.He had to carry the franchise and when you carry a franchise you have to take risks. Romo is easily the most under-appreciated QB in the last decade.

 

There is also a stat where Romo has 8 int final 5 minutes within 7 points.

Romo only had a 56 percent chance of winning if threw a interception that game.

He's near the top in 4th quarter comebacks since 2006. When you don't have the ability to play conservatively you either have a game winning touchdown or you throw an interception trying. He had one or two years with a lot of interceptions but outside of that he wasn't very different than big ben or drew brees with INT count. If his win percentage is so low with one interception all that says to me is he has to play perfect or they lose. that's a team problem. This narrative that people buy into because ESPN told them is hilarious.

 

no getting around Romo having a touch of "Fitzpatrick" in him, but IMO the more than a touch of "Locker" in him was much worse

 

The Browns aren't trading the #1 though

 

I agree, not a Romo fan but he was very underappreciated

 

Underappreciated? The Cowboy fan base always lost their load when talking about Romo up until Dak to their hearts.

The negative talk on Romo was from other fanbases, not the Dallas fanbase.

 

"Underappreciated" is assumed that it's outside of his own team

It's kind of like not watching Michael Jordan (not that Romo is that level) while he played, then reminisced for the days that he played to witness the greatness.
