    Being a former track guy myself, I don't understand why people keep bringing up Desean Jackson in the NFL fastest man talk. He is fast, but Ted Ginn would smoke him in the 100 meters.

    I dont care how fast a player is on the track. But DeSean is extremely fast with pads on running in grass/turf. Ginn is track-fast and has amazing speed, but DeSean has better football speed in my eyes.

    But, I'd take them both in the 55 or 100 ;)

    This thread is suppose to bash CJ and his lovers. CJ is nowhere near as fast anymore.

    No one in this league is touching Desean Jackson in game-speed. Ginn wasn't near as fas in pads as he was on track. And who cares? Does he even play in the NFL anymore? Guy couldn't play football so why is he even in the discussion?


    Javid Best isn't top 10. Love the guy as a Lions fan, but speed isn't his best attribute.

    Only person that could run with Desean is Johnny Knox.

    Ginn is actually still a pretty good return man, he pretty much single handedly won the 9ers a game this year with two back to back return TD's. As a receiver he sucks though.

    I would probably put Mike Wallace above Knox, and on the level of Desean as far as game speed goes.
