We know that the Jets would like to move up to draft a QB. My question is would you be upset if Tennesee helped. Meaning if we gave them a 1st and our 3rd for Muhammad Wilkerson.

Our first and third for Wilkerson?

Yes, I would be upset. Especially since Wilkerson was part of a proposed trade.

I might do that...trade back to 20, where chances are Conklin or Decker are still there and throw them a small bone to boot. Don't know that I would give up a 3rd Rd pick. Maybe our 5th or a 3rd from next year. But he is a Pro Bowl caliber DT...so, why not?

I would be pissed if we did that. With the depth of the DL class this yr just draft one and don't worry about paying out a huge contract.

I just have visions of Haynesworth.

With the contract you are going to have to pay I wouldn't trade more than a 3rd for him.

By all reports Conklin is moving up the boards so not sure he's around at 20. Doubts about Stanley's work ethic appear to be real. Happens every year whether fair or true, some guy slides a mile.

I think he is talking about trading back a handful of spots in the 1st + a 3rd. Totally doable...that is if he were willing to renegotiate his contract to be more friendly to us. But no way we just trade our 1st pick outright for any player, when we can find a baller at the top of the 2nd.

Either Conklin or Decker would still be on the board at 20, IMO....mainly because there aren't that many players for an OT between #10 and #20. Just Indy. Nevertheless, upon further thought, I think we would be best suited to keep what we have and try to take the best remaining DT in the 2nd. Hoping Nkemdiche or Billings slide to #33.

Still hoping we can trade McCluster and/or Sankey somewhere, somehow...to get a 4th Rd pick back

If he signed a long term deal with us, then id be willing to trade for him. If he doesn't then i wouldn't give much of anything. With a long term deal id be ok swapping firsts and giving them a 4th-7th. But, i highly doubt tgat happens

What I would do to get a 4th rnd pick would be to trade our 3rd from the Rams for the 49ers 4th and Davis. This would count for the value of a late 3rd rnd pick for Davis which I think is very fair to land a young RT. This then gets us our early 4th rnder back
