    Simple 'if you were our GM' question, would you have traded a conditional 2014 pick for Wright? I read somewhere (I think) that it was a late round(ish) pick....

    If I'm the Niners, yea I'd do it. They're so close to winning it all and even an average player like Wright could make all the difference.

    Their secondary was their undoing, but now they've added Asomugha and Wright, so it should be pretty solid.

    We've had a good past year or so without any arrests or trouble-making players. Let's keep it that way. Our F.O. is too get at getting the most out of late round draft picks, so let's not waste them.

    I don't see the harm in giving up a 5-7 pick for a pretty good CB that could push us into the playoffs. We still need another DE (come on Abraham) but if we made both of those moves then we would be set.

    Oh yeah, we should've made that trade.

    *) Haven't heard he had injury issues, so probably just an excuse for regretting the trade.
