i want it to be griffin, but i think in the end it's going to be lowry this season.

 

Griffin then Lowry then Fuller then Thompson. Sorry Lamont, you're a good guy, just not a good safety.

 

If Griffin doesn't get the job, the media is going to have a hay-day with this staff. As they should.

 

is the news in Nashville that Griffin will even be competing for that job?

 

Lamont held the spot last year. Someone is going to have to take it from him and he knows that. There is no NFL life for Lamont once he leaves Nashville and he knows that to. Watch for him to shine in camp this year.
As for Griffin, nothing new to see a rookie riding the bench until he proves himself. I like the guy, but he'll have to take the job, no one is going to give it to him.

 

I almost think you should have included Chris Hope at FS. I don't think we have as good a SS as he is, and he has great range for that position, but I don't know if Lowry would make a better FS than he would a SS. Not sure he has the speed and range, but he does play hard and will lay a mean lick.

I'm pulling for Griffin to an extent, but unless they're playing him at CB to move him partway through camp to FS, I just don't see him starting the season at FS.

 

i would love to see Griffin take the job eventually, but not on opening day...let him watch and learn and maybe he can take over mid season or even next year. I'm a big fan of having rookies sit and watch before they get thrown into the field.
