TRAINING CAMP BATTLE #11a - KR

I really want Finnegan to get a shot. I think he is our fastest player and think he would do great on kick returns.

 

Finnegan and Roby should be top 2, but IMO if Finnegan gets the nod in most of the D schemes then Roby will be the man. This is Roby's last chance for an impact and Fisher likes him. I believe he'll get looked at first unless he messes up in TC.

 

I selected Roby but I had to talk myself out of Waddell. Wasn't his college name "Rabbit"? What was his problem, couldn't catch or no nose for finding the holes?
My memory sucks at times, but in the past draft class, didn't we pick up a player that had a lot of time returning kicks...................or was that someone in FA?

 

Finnegan can handle both roles. We won't be fielding many KR's when our awesome D gets all those picks.:bighomer: :ha:

 

Roby. He did a good job as a rookie.

 

Roby would be fine, but I voted Henry. I'd really like to see him take that job.

 

yea, I think this one is Roby's to lose... unless he emerges as the #1 receiver, which I don't really see happening - and even if it does they'd still probably give him the bulk of the KRs. At least we have some decent options here... maybe not homerun threats but if we can win the field position battle then the returners will have done a good job.

 

like i said in the other thread, Davis on punt returns and Finnegan on kick returns.

 

I think Henry will end up doing this..
