Losing Pacman automatically puts us in trouble.

 

Nick harper is a decent cb, but he is not a #1 corner. Pac Man was a game changer, and we just lost him and his punt returns too. This will hurt us a lot.

who has said indy has had even an above average defense over the past 6 years?

 

If Harper can hold his own, the secondary should be decent.

 

so essentially the verdict appears to be "anyone but Woolfolk"

Did you watch the rest of the season?

They stepped up, but their defense, over the whole season, was terrible. That's also been true on average for the last few years. Another potential v. production example, I guess...

 

Which I think might be the best thing about us signing Harper... is he a top-tier CB? No. But playing D has a lot to do with your attitude... the Colts went from embarrassingly soft to incredible in 1 week. Obviously they had the talent but weren't living up to it. Harper was there and knows what it took for them to turn things around like that. Hopefully he can help us do the same.

 

Indy's defense is terrible. Sure, they came alove for 3 weeks, but does anyone expect that luck to continue? They'll start over once again, but may even be worse now without June and Harper.
