I thought the first one was great, could watch it many times and not get bored. I got chills from some scenes, like seeing the robots transform for the first time, the part where the autobots land, that sick looking cop mustang, and the part during the downtown battle where Starscream was transforming back and forth from robot to f-22 and picked off the other jets while doing so.

The second like you said, was horrible. I tolerated the toilet humor in the first one, but the second one was too much. Dogs humping things...is that still considered funny these days? And the twins got way much screen time and were so annoying, it actually became a distraction for me. I never thought I'd say this about a Transformers movie, but there was a good 45 minutes in the film where I was actually bored...y'all should know what part I'm talking about. And LOL when they said something about the government being able to cover everything up. Right, a battle between the military and eight 30 ft-something alien robots in the middle of downtown, LA during lunchtime and no one noticed? What a mess.

P.S - Optimus Prime actually did more harm than good in the first one. He probably stepped on at least a few humans and showed up late only to get tossed around like a rag doll by Megatron...which probably killed some more humans every time he was on his back.

This to an extent. Both had giant a** robots tearin' some crap up, but one movie executed and one didn't. But hey, it's not as bad as the people who complain about Bay making the Transformers look "cooler", lol. Really? You really want Megatron to transform into a handgun? Bay made Transformers more appealing to a broader audience.

Actually, that wasn't Bay... in later variations of Transformers, Megatron transformed into a tank and such.

    Wasn't Bay...say what?

They already had a tank and who cares, handgun, tank, banana, Oompa-Loompa...if they looked like the cartoons, a live action movie would have never worked. Get over it. Go relive your glory childhood at Comic-Con. Plus as a bonus, it's an excuse for beautiful women to dress slutty and an excuse for you guys to howl at them.

Look, don't be a d-bag. I was simply stating that it wasn't Bay's idea necesarily. In later versions of Transformers - I'm talking LATE 90's, early 2000's - Megatron was in different transformations. I know one was a tank, but I thought I'd heard he was also a jet - a triple changer.

You were comparing it to the old 80's version and stating it was Bay's idea to not make him a handgun. I'm simply stating that THAT isn't true when you look at ALL the popular versions of The Transformers.

    And I wasn't doing it in a d___ way.

Lol, I apologize if you were actually offended.

And no, as for Megatron not being a handgun, I don't know exactly who's idea it was, but you have to be a fool to think Bay didn't have a say in it. I was actually saying IN GENERAL, Bay didn't want the robots to look like the cartoons, and that is a fact. I listed the handgun example to get my point across of how lame it would have been if they did things like the cartoons. And that's just one example.
