Anyone else watching this? If HBO doesn't pull the plug after the first season this show may very well pan out. At first it looked to be a silly Lost Boys II type dud but it's slowly building up. Made by the 6 Feet Under creators - great looking - set in the bayou. Worth checking out if you can take in at a least a few episodes...

I think its a great show, finally HBO returns with something worth while. Big Love wasn't doing it for me. Bill Paxton can't act.

we still have entourage, flight of the conchords, and now True Blood. In Treatment looked promissing as well.

It's decent. It could pan out to be a good, solid HBO show. But HBO needs another "Deadwood/The Wire" type of drama to really keep my attention. Entourage, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Flight of the Conchords is too comedy-titled for my taste.

AMC blows HBO away with breaking bad and madmen. They are the cutting edge network and it costs nothing extra to get amc.

Good shows, but AMC has a ways to go to surpass The Wire or Deadwood. Plus they need to get with it and a horror host on Fear Fridays..

Cool.. Now that they are starting to flash back centuries of the vampire's background and that whole V-juice storyline it's picking up tempo...
It's great to look forward to Sunday Night again!
