According to the new top 100 on nfl network.

Interesting that this is a guy we didn't try to keep around a couple of years back.

A good, active run defender who always gets 100 tackles and is well suited to the 4-3 Mike linebacker spot. But is he a top 100 player? He can't stay on the field in passing downs.

Only 2 titans in the top 100 were CJ and Pollard and Pollard can't hang on a team more than a season or 2.

I think Derek Morgan is closer to a top 100 player than either Tulluch or Pollard.

It seems like a key to making that top 100 list is to just stay on the field. Tulloch has not missed a game in 3 seasons and that durability has allowed him to get those 100 tackles every year.

He couldn't cover worth a lick. Still a great player regardless. Top 100? ...I guess so, since the NFL players voted.

He doesn't drink and wreck cars with people in them, stomp downed players, rob people/houses, or get dui's or agg/domestic assault charges.

Basically, he is one of the best players the Lions have. lolz

Tulloch is average. Good at some things and not at others.

Interesting that Ayers after 2 full seasons as a starter is not on that list. Maybe this year. My guess is that next year Pollard is off the list, Warmack and one other defensive player make the list and hopefully for our future Jake locker is there. Andy Dalton is even in the top 100 and Locker needs to make his mark.

A list like that is dumb because the top 7-8 QBs should be ranked 1-8. And how do you compare the value of a Mike linebacker with that of a WR or QB?

Tulloch is good. He's been better for the Lions than he was the Titans, imo. I think he went there and took on a more leadership role than he had here.

But that top 100 list is so stupid it's not worth paying attention to. The results are extremely weird.

Do the players polled have to name 100 guys? I can see naming 50, then going eff it and naming whoever they can think of...

Justin Houston made the top 50... and I've hardly heard of that guy.

Dennis Pitta made the list and Vernon Davis did not. Therefore they need to stop doing this thing.
