Tunsil vs. Stanley

    Idk why people like Tunsil so much more than Stanley. I personally think Stanley would be better at number 1.

    Tunsil: Injury issues (never completed full season without injury), arrested, received impermissible benefits. Has better feet technique

    Stanley: Started every game freshman year and in 2014. Faster, but lacks feet technique.

    I don't like all the off field stuff about Tunsil, and in fact would rather draft Stanley number 1 than Tunsil number 1.

    you dont really think that, you just wanna debate something

    Ill say this about Stanley, so far in the film Ive seen, the rumor of being "lazy or soft" is holding true. I see this kid get his hands on a man to only allow the defender to get away. IDK if he thinks just getting in the way is enough but he needs to play thru the whistle better. He's not the aggressor at all in run plays, but he is good at sitting on his heels and keeping his QB clean.

    I wouldn't consider at 1.

    Tunsil IMO. Insanely athletic, with great pass protection and run blocking numbers to prove it. His missed games bother me...the off field stuff meh....

    You are completely wrong. Even if you consider the 2 players equal or Stanley superior you don't take Stanley #1 you trade out of the pick and get him later. Stanley will still be there up to the 8th pick. And if for some reason GMs agree with you and pass on Tunsil we get him with our later pick.

    Every scouting report i have read says that Tunsil has superior technique and foot work. Stanley might have more upside from where he is now. Neither is a great run blocker.

    I do think Stanley is a bit better as a prospect than the #3 and 4 ranked guys and worth a top 10 pick.

    Seems the ideal situation would be to make that trade and get Stanley with the later pick.
