Turns out the Jags are pretty good, or do the Ravens suck?

It means that the Ravens are just as two-faced as we are and the Jags are not as bad as people think. Other than the loss to the Jets, the Jags have been very competitive. That defense is stout.

I sure hope they can beat the Texans next week. I doubt it with AJ returning, but you never know with these divisional games... Well, you just never know period.

Last night's game is exactly why I'm trying not to overreact to our beatdown on Sunday. This has been a weird season, particularly for the AFCS.

It seems like just about every team has laid an egg or two. It was just a few weeks ago when everyone was writing off the Steelers. And I'm sure the Baltimore fanbase is reacting in much the same way we are right now. Doom and gloom. "We suck", etc.

As cliche as it is, "any given Sunday". We have 10 games left to turn things around. And the Texans have 9 games left to implode. Make no mistake though, changes NEED to be made.

LMAO-you all are funny. No matter how you analyze it we've got a problem. Our problems do not compare to the other team problems (which I do see as hot and cold). I think the jags will continue to get better now that Gabbert is getting more confident and I think the Ravens are what they have always been. A tough upper level team that will win around eight games by end of season and will be in playoffs or miss by one game. We have no run game and a coach not willing to see it. Our receiving corp is suspect at best without Britt or our QB can't find the open man (really don't know). We just got rolled by the Texans. That was never a good game. We let Foster come in our house and beat us down then he brought his friend Tate to take what was left. That was a pitiful performance from both the D and the O. There were no positives and no matter how many times you try to parallel us to another team or say any given SUnday it just doesn't change the conclusion. These Titans have issues and a Head coach who right now is either too stubborn or too stupid to identify, address, and solve those issues. I find it unbelievable that two lineman who played so long for this organization along with two goobers that are your OC and DC can't watch film and recognize/fix the problems.

I agree with a lot of what you said lateknight. I'm just saying that I think we have to *sigh* cut Munchak some slack here. We're only 6 games into the season (and his first ever head coaching gig). Maybe he's starting to see that "stay the course" isn't working. What a team's PR machine says publicly and how they really feel behind the scenes are two different things.

I disagree that our problems are that drastically different than some of the other Jekyll and Hyde teams out there. Pre-Steelers game we were playing like one of the best teams in the league. And that despite having the absolute worst run game in the league. Sure we've lost Britt now. But injuries happen to everyone. And if we can get the run game at least back up to a respectable level then our offense will be MUCH better off.

Yeah, we have problems. So does just about every other team in the NFL. It's a long season and it's not even half-way over. A couple of decisive wins and some of those same people pissing and moaning about how we have no shot at the playoffs will be talking Super Bowl.

Maybe its good these things are happening now and we can get all these things fixed before the season gets away from us.Correct these things now and get our team in the right mode.
