Posted by ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- LenDale White has 15 rushing touchdowns.

Chris Johnson has nine.

One more for the rookie, and the Titans two-headed backfield will join a short list.

Here's what I found in the mailbag that got me started on this subject:

Will from Burbank asked: If Chris Johnson scores one more rushing touchdown that will give him 10 on the ground joining Lendale White with double digits for touchdowns. Is there anything historic in that accomplishment? A lot has been made about Jacobs and Ward rushing for 1,000 yards. Is there anything to say about dual double digit touchdown teammates?

Mark Simon of ESPN Research checked it out with the Elias Sports Bureau, and it turns out Will's question was a great one. If Johnson scores on the ground Sunday in Indianapolis, he and White will become just the third set of teammates in league history to each record double-digit rushing TDs.

It hasn't been done since 2002, and it hasn't been done by two running backs since 1975.

"That would be real big," Johnson said.

"You would expect that if you are running it well and both backs are getting ample carries over the course of the year," coach Jeff Fisher said.

"I think there'd be a lot of satisfaction in that," left tackle Michael Roos said. "Hopefully they'd get some satisfaction out of getting us something nice. Two over ten would be great for them, it would be great for our whole offense. Hopefully we can make it happen."

Teammates with 10+ rush touchdowns each:

1960:Â* Green Bay -- B Paul Hornung 13; Jim Taylor 11
1975:Â* Indianapolis -- Don McCauley 10; Lydell Mitchell 11
2002Â*Â* Minnesota -- Daunte Culpepper 10; Moe Williams 11

I think Paul meant '4th' set of teammates.. (not 3rd)

and here's another kick *** stat..
If.. no not IF.. I meant 'when' CJ scores another TD, not only would the duo become the 4th set of teammates in league history to each record double-digit rushing TDs, but it would be with the most rushing TDs in that category of teammates with 10+ rush touchdowns each... (25TDs).

Hopefully next season VY, LW and CJ will be the 1st set of teammates in league history to each record double-digit rushing TDs.

A few years back, Eddie George bought all the OL four-wheelers. I hope CJ and LenDale took care of the bigguns.

Apart from Amano they all make way more money than Lendale.

Amano makes more than Lendale but not by a huge amount compared to the rest of the line.
