If the guy is a piece of crap off the field it really doesn't matter. He doesn't deserve to be in the NFL. Vick, Hardy and every single one of those POS's are floating turds... need to have that super strong flush to get rid of them.

I wasn't. If I never hear his name again it'll be too soon.

UDFA Morgan Burns was the last player to sign with the Titans last week, but he could possibly be the most explosive. Special teams is a third of the game and there is something to be said for having one of the best returners in the country on your team.

    Just ask the Seahawks.

What Tyler Lockett did last year as a rookie, dominating in the return game and turning the tide in the Seahawks favor with single explosive plays, should be reason enough to add a speedster like Burns to our team. Lockett and Burns were teammates at K-State in 2014 when Lockett was named the BIG 12 Special Teams Player of the Year. Morgan then destroyed his records the following year en route to becoming the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year for 2015 and a first team All American Returner.

Burns is faster than Lockett too. He ran a 4.38 40 at his pro day which would have been 8th best at the combine. Speed is a huge part of the modern NFL and an explosive player like Burns has it in spades. He is also elusive. His 4 return touchdowns led the nation last year and he had TWO 100 yarders.

Burns met with numerous teams before the draft and he is viewed by many as a RB at the next level. It's the position he played earlier in his career before switching to CB and a position to which he is better suited. Adding a shifty speedster to a backfield loaded with bruisers Murray and Henry could really throw off defenses. No one else on our offense has his kind of playmaking ability.

I hope he makes the final 53. Kudos to JRob for getting him to the Titans, I'm sure numerous teams in the league tried to sign him.

Here is an interesting read on him.

While that was ugly, it didn't result in 2 points on the season's opening kickoff. Reynaud wins the KO return embarrassment contest.

Yeah but Mularkey goes from half to full mast every time he talks about McCluster so he would have to really impress to beat him out.

Ideally we could give him reps at CB/RB and returner and practice squad him. He could be a Troy Brown type in terms of versatility which JRob has seen first hand.

Sam Bergen, Bennett Okotcha, Ben Roberts and Mike Smith were signed today after tryouts over the weekend. Mettenberger, Kevin Greene, Rashon Ceaser and Iosia Iosia were released to make room for them.
