Unique take on Mariota.....

    on total access while discussing the upcoming games at the Texans, Eric Davis likened what the Titans were doing with Mariota as using a thoroughbred like a "plow pony". I have to concur and I really like comparison. So with the incredible skill set Mariota possesses, is it time to take the reins off. I know the flip side is a possible negative affect it would have on our bruising backs. No huddle 2 minute offense the whole game. Looks like Kendall is back this week. Time to unveil it?

    A broken Mariota doesn't see the field.

    I hope we see more spread, up-tempo stuff but we need to remember teams were protecting leads both times he was running it late in games.

    I don't expect it to be as successful when teams are willing to blitz.

    I'm torn. I know he is just 22 and hasn't played an entire season yet, but I think the blitz affords some big play opportunity for us

    Big risk. Big reward.

    It's not my toy to play with but I'd try it until the Texans prove they can stop it or my QB is in danger.

    But that's easy for me to say, isn't it?
